The chat interface
Start with Qwen’s official website when you want a ready-to-use assistant. The tools and limits in that product depend on what the service currently provides.

Hosted model access
Alibaba Cloud Model Studio provides hosted developer services. Verify the selected model, deployment region, supported capabilities and applicable rates.

Model releases
The official Qwen organization publishes model releases and model cards. Read the specific release’s license, requirements and usage instructions before deploying it.
Check the exact model and provider.
Qwen is a model family. Different releases may accept different inputs or target different tasks. A service hosting a Qwen model may offer a different interface, tool set and price from the official assistant.
Model Studio also lists models from other providers. Confirm the developer and model identifier, rather than treating every model on the platform as a Qwen model.
Choose your route
- To chat directly, use the official Qwen website.
- To integrate a hosted model, review Model Studio’s region-specific setup and pricing.
- To run a published model yourself, start with its official model card and deployment instructions.
- For a fair comparison, record the release, provider and settings; a family name alone is not enough.
