About ChinaAI
Independent guides to Chinese AI
ChinaAI is an independent English-language publication covering DeepSeek, Kimi and Qwen. We help readers choose the right service, complete practical tasks and check the results they receive.
What we help you understand
A model name, a chat app and a developer platform are often mentioned together. They are not interchangeable. We explain the connections so you can find the right service and understand what a capability, limit or price actually applies to.
Our guides combine official documentation with recorded product tests where relevant. We distinguish what a provider claims from what we observed, and explain which app, model or service a finding applies to.
Who is behind ChinaAI?
ChinaAI.chat is operated by Thinkly For Digital Business, based in Egypt. Articles published under the China AI Chat Team name represent the publication’s editorial work. We are responsible for the published content, its source references, updates and corrections. For editorial enquiries and corrections, contact the team.
Our reference guides explain official documentation, model releases and prices. Our practical guides report tasks we have carried out, with their dates, results and limitations. Our methodology explains how research, testing, AI assistance and human editorial review contribute to the published work.
Evidence you can inspect
Selected guides include original prompts, outputs, screenshots and downloadable files so you can examine the evidence yourself. These examples show both useful results and the limits of each trial:
- Reading PDFs in DeepSeek: three small source files, exact prompts and complete first answers, with checks of facts, page references and a table calculation.
- Correcting a Kimi Word document: the original page-break problem, a separate revised file and before-and-after screenshots from Kimi/WPS. Desktop Word layout was not tested.
- Checking a Kimi Code repair: the original project, one-line change and independent test results. Kimi’s own test commands failed in the restricted session; that limitation remains part of the result.
Each example supports the task and conditions described in its guide. It does not establish how the product performs on every document, project or account.
Meet our editorial reviewers
Ibrahim Ahmed and Ibrahim Abd Elhady contribute human editorial review. Review credits on individual guides identify the reviewers and the version covered. Our review policy distinguishes this work from product testing and AI-assisted checks.
Ibrahim Ahmed
Ibrahim Ahmed is an IT specialist and technical content expert with an interest in artificial intelligence. He provides editorial review for ChinaAI’s technology guides.
Ibrahim Abd Elhady
Ibrahim Abd Elhady is a technology specialist with an interest in artificial intelligence and an editorial reviewer for ChinaAI.
Named review credits apply to the version specified in each guide. A credit for an earlier version does not imply review of a later edit, and editorial review does not mean that the reviewer personally performed every recorded test. Test dates, methods and results are documented separately. For questions or corrections, contact the editorial team.
Independent, with clear destinations
ChinaAI is not affiliated with DeepSeek, Moonshot AI or Alibaba. Links labelled official take you to the provider’s own service. Accounts, subscriptions and support for those services are managed by their respective operators.
Using our service directory
Visitors can explore our guides, open official services and prepare a question to copy in our chat directory. The directory also contains clearly labelled recorded AI examples. Live visitor chat is not active on ChinaAI.
