This Cookie Policy explains how ChinaAI uses cookies and related technologies on chinaai.chat, why they are used and the controls currently available to you.
ChinaAI is operated by Thinkly For Digital Business, based in Egypt. This policy supplements our Privacy Policy, which explains our information practices, service providers, retention and your privacy rights.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser when you visit a website. They can support functions such as maintaining a sign-in session, checking requests or measuring website use. First-party cookies relate to the website you visit; third-party cookies relate to a different domain.
Scripts, pixels and web beacons can also send information about page visits or interactions. Some measurement and technical processing can take place without cookies. A service described as cookie-free may still process information.
2. Technologies used on ChinaAI
Website operation and security
WordPress: our publishing platform uses cookies for administrator authentication, settings and login-related functions. These do not mean that ordinary readers have ChinaAI accounts. We do not currently offer public visitor accounts or comments. See WordPress cookie documentation.
Cloudflare security and delivery: we use Cloudflare to deliver and protect the website. Depending on the features operating and the request involved, cookies may help verify requests, detect automated traffic or support service operation. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.
Analytics and performance measurement
Google Analytics: we use this service to understand visits, page views, referral sources and interactions with our content. It uses cookies and related identifiers depending on its configuration and applicable settings. Analytics can also transmit information without setting cookies. Jetpack Stats / Automattic: we use Jetpack Stats to measure visits, page views, referral sources and outbound link activity. It processes technical information about visits. Cookies and related technologies vary with the Jetpack features enabled and how they are used. See Jetpack Stats privacy information and Automattic’s Cookie Policy.
Cloudflare Web Analytics: we also use this service to understand visits and page performance. Cloudflare states that its measurement beacon does not store or access cookies or browser storage. This description applies specifically to Web Analytics; other Cloudflare services may use cookies. See Cloudflare’s Web Analytics beacon documentation.
Not every visitor receives the same cookies. Provider documentation may describe features and cookies beyond those used on ChinaAI. Hosting and security logs are separate from browser cookies and are explained in our Privacy Policy.
3. Advertising cookies
Google AdSense and other advertising networks are not currently enabled on ChinaAI. We are preparing to apply for AdSense. Using Google Analytics does not mean that advertising is active.
Before introducing advertising, we will update this policy and our Privacy Policy to describe the partners and processing actually used, and provide any required consent and withdrawal controls. For personalized Google ads shown to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we will use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.
4. Your current choices
ChinaAI does not currently provide an on-site cookie-preference panel. The following controls are available:
- Browser settings: you can review, block or delete cookies through your browser’s privacy settings. Available options vary by browser. Blocking some cookies can affect website functions or security checks. You may need to adjust settings separately for each browser and device.
- Google Analytics opt-out: on supported browsers, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. It prevents supported Analytics scripts from sharing visit activity in the browser where it is installed and functioning. It does not disable Jetpack Stats, Cloudflare services, server logs or every other way information may be collected.
5. Consent and your privacy rights
Where applicable law requires prior consent for cookies or similar technologies, that consent must be obtained separately before they are used. Visiting ChinaAI, reading this policy or agreeing to our Terms of Use does not provide that consent. Browser controls do not replace any required prior consent.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. 6. How long cookies and information remain
Session cookies are intended to last for a browsing session. Persistent cookies can remain until they expire or are deleted. Actual durations depend on the service, cookie, browser and settings involved; there is no single duration for every cookie.
Cookie expiry is separate from retention of information already received by us or a service provider. Deleting a cookie does not automatically delete those records. For retention criteria and deletion requests, see our Privacy Policy.
7. External websites and AI services
Our official chat directory links to external AI services. When you visit those services, their own cookie policies, privacy notices and controls apply. The directory does not submit prompts to AI providers or generate AI responses. Visits to the directory itself remain subject to ChinaAI’s analytics and technical processing.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our services or practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain a new consent choice.
