The DeepSeek guide

DeepSeek AI.
Know where to start.

Find the official chat, understand the models, and explore developer access with prices and sources clearly separated.

ChinaAI is independent. Your official DeepSeek account is managed on DeepSeek’s own services.

Choose how you want to use DeepSeek.

USE THE APP

Start a conversation

The official web chat is the direct route to DeepSeek’s own interface. Follow its sign-in flow and review the features available to your account.

ON YOUR PHONE

Find the official app

Use DeepSeek’s own download page to choose the correct app for your device and avoid confusing similarly named services.

BUILD WITH IT

Use the developer API

Connect your application to a supported model. API credentials, request settings and token billing are separate from the chat interface.

Current official API reference

Know the model behind the name.

An API identifier can point to an updated model version. Check the mapping before comparing results, estimating costs or integrating a model.

Using DeepSeek here or on its own website

The links on this guide take you to the official DeepSeek services. An independent chat experience on ChinaAI is planned, but is not active yet. We are not currently collecting or sending chat prompts.

When an on-site trial is available, its exact model, provider and usage limits will be shown before you start. The official app remains the place to use DeepSeek’s own product experience.

Before you choose a service

  • Check whether a feature belongs to the official app, a particular API model or a third-party interface.
  • Read the current model and pricing documentation before buying API credit.
  • For an official account problem, use support in the official service. ChinaAI cannot manage that account.
